Dinners are a chance for companies to have a more intimate meeting with top students from the University of Texas. Typically companies will send some engineers and recruiters to represent their company. The location of the dinners is up to the company, but it is best to have them at a restaurant close to campus. Of course, the nicer the restaurant, the better impression the company is likely to make. Corporations should set up dinner reservations, and UPE will provide the students. We can get a pretty good head-count of people before so appropriate reservations can be made. If the corporation wants to impose a cap on attendees, this information should be provided in advance. These dinners can take place at any time during the week, but keep in mind students are less likely to attend on Fridays, and Wednesdays.
